RESEARCH POSITION Department of Chinese, Translation and Linguistics (CTL) City University of Hong Kong Hong Kong Research Fellows/Research Assistant Professors associated with the Department of Chinese, Translation and Linguistics, City University of Hong Kong are anticipated to be available in the 1996/97 academic year. Possible research areas include but are not limited to the following : computational linguistics experimental phonetics linguistic theory discourse analysis Required background : applicants should have completed their PhD in Linguistics or related discipline. Research experience resulting in publications in international refereed journals Salary : Research Fellowship : HK$21,270-24,590 per month Research Assistant Professor : HK$40,380 per month Determination of grade will depend on qualifications and relevant experience.
