Since I read my mail using emacs, I have also written some emacs functions to make this less effortful. I have already sent the scripts to Andreas -- I mention all this here in case someone else would like this stuff. It is an ungainly thing, but it works. I bet there is something much better for doing this out there somewhere..... all best, Doug
