Is this a sentiment that is generally shared among members of the hpsg
list? Is there something that could be done about it?

The reason why there are so few mailings to HPSG is because we all
put cattle prods on our keyboards so we would never, never touch
the HPSG mailing key for fear of spewing our innermost thoughts
across the entire planet by mistake.
